A fresh colourway for the new season, these gravel and black Veja Rio Branco Hexamesh Shoes have been constructed from a blend of Hexamesh - Veja’s own material made from a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester - water repellent suede and wild rubber. The breathable mesh uppers are edged with a light coloured suede border which flows around the front of the toes, along the lace border and around the back of the heel. The slim tongue features embossed Veja branding, has been designed to curve around the top of the foot and is secured by colour matched flat cotton laces. On either outer panel, contrasting black V rubber inserts have been added for signature branding and on the back of the heel a solid tip allows white ‘VEJA’ text to stand out. An organic cotton and recycled polyester blend lining runs throughout.

Designed for everyday wear, the layered outsole of this design includes a section of white Amazonian rubber above a light brown thread with an emphasised pattern that supplies a high level of grip across a variety of terrains. Veja are based in Paris where they design collections of ethical, sustainably driven footwear that they hope will inspire positive change within the industry.
